Shanghai is set to get its own version of New York's famous Broadway theater strip.

Nanjing Road W. would eventually be transformed into "Chinese Broadway," Jing'an District authorities said yesterday at the Forbes and Nanjing Road forum. Government officials, scholars and senior executives of top luxury brands met at the Four Seasons Hotel to discuss "The Interaction and Integration between the Business District and Modern Drama," the theme of this year's forum, part of the Expo Forum.
